The Company is charitable in outlook and mission. Gemand Consulting is focused on solving the knotty issue of fully funding state and local services while easing tax burdens. The goal is to increase revenues to stimulate state and local economies, and cause a greater proportion of federal taxes to be spent at state and local levels. The Company will act for clients as educator, facilitator, coordinator and catalyst to create grassroots support and momentum for policy changes. The Company’s approach is influenced by our location in Massachusetts but recognizes that many states and local authorities have similar concerns. National tax reforms are seen as the ultimate solution to ease state and local tax burdens. For states with property taxes, the goal is to remove/replace the property tax as the primary source of funding for local authorities.
